Little tip for nail technicians 🤍
Be careful what grit file you use on the natural nail.
240 grit = the gentlest option and perfect for natural nail prep.
180 grit = better for shaping the free edge or working on gel.
100 grit = I personally use it mostly for refining hard gel.
80 grit = not recommended for natural nails at all 🚫
Overfiled nail plate = lifting, air pockets and retention problems.
And honestly?
If you’re removing product, it’s usually safer to do it with an e-file using the correct technique and proper bits instead of aggressive filing.
And one more thing 🤍
Brands and companies operating in Europe really aren’t trying to trick you.
Most products on the market today are actually very good quality.
Sometimes it’s worth asking yourself:
is this the right product for this client?
was the natural nail prepared correctly?
does this set suit the client’s lifestyle?
Not every lifting issue is the product’s fault
Very often… it’s technique, prep or wrong product choice
Sometimes it’s not the product itself … it’s the prep!

8. The older I get, the less I care about impressing people…and the more I care about feeling happy, calm and free.
9. Mistakes are not failures.Most of my biggest lessons came from the moments I was embarrassed, scared or completely lost
10. Life is actually very short.So love hard, rest when needed, take the trip, post the photo, start again, forgive yourself and stop waiting for the “perfect moment”.
